Ratatouille baked in the grill

2 middle – size onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 sweet green pepper
1 sweet red pepper
1 middle – size aubergine
2 middle – size vegetable marrow
400 g canned  and cut tomatoes
1 bouquet garni
2 table spoons tomato paste
900 g potato
75 g grated cheese cheddar
  salt and pepper
2 table spoons cut green onion


Clean and cut into small pieces onion and garlic. Wash, clean and cut into pieces sweet pepper. Wash, clean and cut into pieces aubergine. Wash, clean and cut into pieces vegetable marrows.
Put in a big pot onion, garlic and sweet pepper. Add tomatoes, tomato, and bouquet of garni; salt and pepper according to your taste. Bring to boil, cover with a lid and stew within 10 min, having stirred once.
Peel potato, cut into cubes 2.5 cm. Put potato in another pot and cook 10-12 min. Pour off water.
Put vegetables in fireproof tray. Put potato above. Warm up grill to middle heat. Strew potato with grated cheese and put for 5 min under grill. Serve having strewed with green onion.
